Since I had not expected this question while the FAQ list was put together, and then suddenly received it just recently, I decided to have an entire separate section for this one particular subject.
Q. "Is it possible to do a “transfer” with the soul or identity of a human?"
A. Technically it would be possible, but there are several pertinent reasons that have made me decide to not go along this particular path. One of which involves the ethical question of doing such a thing.
Here follow a few points about what the difference between a human and an animal “transfer” are.
1st are the legalities. To achieve a transfer the body, which is filed, acknowledged and considered to be the whole of what makes up a person, will be gone and replaced by a different body. Legally the “new” body would be someone else, and since that body is hosted by its own identity with its own wants and needs, it creates a whole different set of problems for both host and transferred identity.
2nd point is Karma. Unlike animals who do not possess this particular learning process that is passed on from one incarnation to the next, it is not something that would allow for a transfer of an identity. No matter if an identity is transferred, the karma will stay and mix with that of the identity already residing in the host.
3rd is the complexity of the human identity/soul/character. While animals return to the universal spirit from which they sprung in the first place, humans stay separate entities so different laws apply.
4th point is where the identity should be placed. Unlike a pet one can hardly go out and acquire a baby or some unsuspecting person from the street, so this also negates the possibility.
Due to these main reasons, and a variety of small ones, transferring humans is not a service that I offer.
